At a glance
- Pricify Links finds the product links shown in Instagram posts and reels that you share with it.
- We collect only what the app needs: your sign-in details, the Instagram links you send, the reels you choose to save, and a notification token.
- We do not ask for your Instagram login or read your Instagram account. We do not sell your data and the app has no advertising.
- The optional floating icon reads the clipboard only when you tap it, and only accepts a single Instagram link.
- You can delete your account and data inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or at pricify.chat/delete-account.
🏢 Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Pricify Chat and the Pricify Links app ("we", "us", "our") are operated by Hello Chitty AI Solutions, founded by Anil Kumar Komma, Road Number 6, Mallapur, Medchal Malakajgiri, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500076, India. We decide why and how your personal data is processed (we are the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
This policy covers:
- The Pricify Chat WhatsApp bot (price comparison and price drop alerts)
- The Pricify Chat website at pricify.chat, including the web dashboard
- The Pricify Links Android app ("the App"), which finds the product links shown in Instagram posts and reels you share with it
By using any of these you agree to this policy. Where we rely on your consent (for example, to turn on the floating icon or to send notifications) you can withdraw it at any time, as described below.
📋 Information We Collect
On WhatsApp
- Your WhatsApp number and display name, when you message our bot
- The product names, links and searches you send us, so we can find and compare prices
- Products you choose to track, with the target price you set, so we can send price drop alerts
- Basic usage data (which commands you use and how often), so we can keep the bot working reliably
On the website
- If you create a web dashboard account: an email address (optional) and a password, which is stored only in hashed form
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in to your dashboard
In the Pricify Links app
- Account details: the username, email address and/or mobile (WhatsApp) number you give when you sign up. If you use a password, it is sent to us once over an encrypted connection and stored on our servers only as a hash. The App never stores your password on your device.
- One-time codes: we send a 6-digit code by email or on WhatsApp to verify you when you sign up, sign in with your mobile number, reset a password or delete your account. We store only a hash of the code. It expires after 10 minutes, allows 5 tries, and is cleared once used.
- Sign-in sessions: when you sign in we create a session for that device and store its creation time, last-used time and expiry (90 days after last use), together with a hash of the session token. This lets you stay signed in and lets us sign you out everywhere.
- Profile: the display name and bio you choose to save (kept on our servers). Your profile photo is kept only on your device and is not uploaded.
- Instagram links: the Instagram post or reel links you share to the App, paste into it, or send using the floating icon, with the status of each request and the product links we return.
- Saved reels: if you use "Save reel", the Instagram link, or the video file you choose to share, plus the category name you pick. Only a video you actively choose to save is uploaded.
- Reports: if you tell us a result is wrong, we record that report against your account.
- Product link clicks: when you open a product link from the App we record which link was opened, linked to your account, so we can measure whether results are useful and detect misuse.
- Notification token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token that identifies your app installation so we can tell you when a product link is ready.
- Clipboard (only with the floating icon): see the next section.
- Technical data our servers receive automatically: standard request information such as IP address, app version and time of request, used for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.
When the App shows a product image or a preview, it may load it from our servers or from the store's or Instagram's content servers. Those servers can see your IP address and device details, as with any web content.
🔵 The Optional Floating Icon (Clipboard and "Display Over Other Apps")
The floating icon is off by default. You turn it on yourself in the App under Profile. Before Android's permission screen opens, the App explains what it does and asks you to agree.
- It uses Android's "Display over other apps" permission to draw a small round icon, and a result card next to it, on top of other apps such as Instagram.
- It reads the clipboard only at the moment you tap the icon, never in the background and never continuously.
- It accepts one thing only: a single Instagram link. If what you copied is anything else (another website, text, numbers, several links, or text that merely contains a link) it is refused and ignored. It is not sent to us and not stored.
- If the copied item is a single Instagram link, it is sent to our servers to find its product link, exactly as if you had shared it to the App.
- It shows a visible notification while it is on, with a "Turn off" button.
- It does not read the screen, other apps' content, keystrokes or messages, and it does not take screenshots or recordings. It does not use Android's Accessibility service.
- On some Android versions the system itself shows a small "pasted from clipboard" message when the clipboard is read. That message comes from Android.
You can turn the icon off at any time from Profile → Disable floating icon, from its notification, or by removing "Display over other apps" for Pricify Links in your phone's settings. If you enabled it, it may restart after you reboot your phone; turning it off prevents this.

🚫 What We Do Not Do
- We do not ask for, receive or store your Instagram username, password, messages, followers or any Instagram account data. We only process the links you choose to send us.
- The App does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, SMS or call history.
- The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Firebase is used only to deliver notifications.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
🎯 How We Use Your Information
- To search for and compare product prices on your behalf
- To find the product links in the Instagram posts and reels you share, and to show them to you in the App
- To check tracked prices every 24 hours and send you a WhatsApp message when one drops or hits your target
- To verify your account, sign you in and reset your password
- To send notifications you have allowed, such as "your product link is ready"
- To show your tracked products and price history on the web dashboard
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix problems
- To improve the accuracy and speed of our results and the bot
We only use your data for these purposes. We ask for your consent where the law requires it, and use data without consent only for the limited purposes the law allows, such as providing a service you asked for, security, and legal obligations.
👥 People Who Help Us Find Product Links (Contributors)
If the App cannot answer a link instantly from our own records, the Instagram link and its preview are shown to our contributors. Contributors are people who work with us under our contributor terms and match the post to a product. They see the Instagram link and preview only. They do not see your name, mobile number, email address or account details.
🔗 Who We Share Information With
- Google Cloud and Firebase: to host our servers, store your data (Firestore, file storage), and deliver push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta): to send and receive your WhatsApp messages, including sign-in codes sent to your mobile number
- Email delivery provider: to send you sign-in and password-reset codes by email
- Price data providers: to fetch live prices and price history from online stores
- Contributors: only the Instagram link and its preview, as described above
- Affiliate partners: some buy links redirect through verified affiliate programs. These partners may see that a click came from Pricify, but we do not share your name, email, mobile number or WhatsApp number with them.
- Legal and safety: authorities or others where we are legally required to, or where needed to protect our users, our service or our rights
- Business changes: if our business is merged, sold or reorganised, your data may move to the new owner, who must honour this policy
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
📱 Data Stored on Your Device
- Your sign-in tokens and username, in encrypted storage that other apps cannot read
- A copy of your most recent results, so the App opens quickly
- Your profile photo, if you set one
- Your floating icon on/off choice and its position on screen
Signing out or uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.
⏳ How Long We Keep Information

We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it or for security and fraud prevention, and anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
🛡️ Data Protection
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the App and our servers; encrypted storage and access controls on our servers; hashed passwords and codes; encrypted storage on your device for your sign-in; limits on sign-in and code attempts; and access to personal data restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password and codes private. If a data breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
⚖️ Your Rights and Choices
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used
- Correct or update inaccurate data (you can edit your name and bio in the App)
- Erase your data by deleting your account (see below)
- Withdraw consent at any time, for example by turning off the floating icon or notifications, or by deleting your account. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.
- Raise a grievance with us using the details below, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, you may also have the right to a copy of your data in a portable format, to object to or restrict some processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email us at anilkumar@pricify.chat from the address on your account, or message us on WhatsApp. We may need to confirm it is really you first.
🗑️ Deleting Your Account and Data
- In the Pricify Links app: open the Profile tab, tap "Delete account", enter the code we send you, and confirm. This is permanent.
- On the web, without the app: go to pricify.chat/delete-account, sign in with a code, choose the accounts to delete and confirm.
- On WhatsApp: you can remove any tracked product at any time by sending remove followed by the product number, or by using the toggle on your web dashboard.
- By email, if you can't use the App or the web page: write to anilkumar@pricify.chat with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address or mobile number on your account, and we will delete it.
Deleting your account removes your sign-in, profile, shared links and results, reports, saved reels and their video files, click history, sessions and notification token. What we keep, and for how long, is in the table above. Contributor earnings and payment records are kept for legal reasons, as the table explains.
👶 Children's Privacy
Pricify Chat and the Pricify Links app are not directed to children and are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
🌍 Where Your Data Is Processed
Our service providers, including Google Cloud and Firebase, may process data on servers in India or in other countries. Wherever it is processed, we require appropriate safeguards and process it only as described in this policy.
🧩 Other Pricify Accounts
If you also use a Pricify Contributor, Creator or Advertiser account, that account is separate and holds additional information for that role (for example payment and earnings records, creator profile and content, or campaign records). Deleting your Pricify Links account does not delete those roles' records, except where you choose to delete a Creator account on the deletion page. Contributor and Advertiser records that we must keep by law are kept as the retention table explains.
📸 Instagram, Meta and Other Third Parties
The Pricify Links app and Pricify Chat are independent services. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta or WhatsApp. Instagram, Meta and WhatsApp are trademarks of their owners. Product links lead to third-party stores, which have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
📝 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, tell you in the App, on the website or on WhatsApp. If a change needs your fresh consent, we will ask for it before applying the change to you.
